UnrealPHD Introduction to Unreal Development Kit (UDK) – Released December 8th, 2009
UnrealPHD is pleased to announce our new video tutorial, on Game Design: Introduction to Unreal Development Kit, led by our Unreal programmer and 3d artist, Jurij Gantar.
This tutorial takes you from start to finish in creating your own custom map in the free Unreal Development Kit (UDK), to creating your own .exe game installer as a standalone game, that you can give or sell to almost anyone on a PC.
This 3 1/2 hour tutorial has 16 chapters covering the things you need to know to give you a jumpstart into making games. Besides the Unreal Development Kit, we also delve into 3dStudio Max and Photoshop, and integrating custom models, textures, and normal maps. But don’t worry if you don’t have 3dStudio Max or Photoshop, we include all the source files, models, and textures with our tutorial, so you can experience loading custom next-gen game content in the Unreal Engine.
It’s the quickest jumpstart into Game Design that you can take!
